Culture and society never stop changing. Products improve and methods evolve. The pest control industry is no different. Over the past several years, we have experienced an evolution of pest control products and methods.
In the past, effective pest control consisted of a "bug man" (technician) coming to your home. They would begin at your front door, spraying the baseboard. Once they followed the baseboard all the way around your home, they would collect payment and wave goodbye. In 30 days, they would come back to repeat the same process.
Doing pest control this way, monthly visits were necessary, because the product's residual effectiveness lasted only 30 days. After a month, the chemical's effectiveness decreased each day, allowing pests to move back in. Though it was not very effective, this interior-focused pest control method was used often. Exterior pest control was rarely administered.
Boy, have things changed! Rather than focusing on interior pest control, we have seen much better results by shifting our focus to exterior pest treatment. In addition to this, advancing technologies within the pest control industry have resulted in longer-lasting treatments. By taking advantage of these advancements, we are able to take a green approach to pest control.
At Soles Exterminating, our mission is to provide value for our customers through a complete customer experience. Nearly all of our new customers choose one of our exterior pest control programs. Many of our existing customers are transitioning from interior pest control to exterior pest control. Our customers have been able to see the effectiveness and value in focusing on exterior treatment.
Proactive pest control is as simple as taking steps to safeguard your home or building from the threat of insects and rodents. But if you've already got a pest problem, you need reactive pest control. With exterior pest control, we manage pests before they invade your home. However, we understand that sometimes, insects make it through. Whether it's ants, cockroaches, spiders, or other bugs, we'll treat the interior of your home or business as necessary to provide the most effective treatment possible.
The effectiveness of proactive pest control requires consistent collaboration between the homeowner and our pest control technicians. Our technicians will offer proactive recommendations that will help the customer achieve the best results. These recommendations may include (but are not limited to):
Whichever recommendations your technician provides, by managing your property, you are engaging in proactive pest control. A consistent proactive pest management plan will achieve effective, long-lasting results.
